Here we determine what to include or exclude. For example Reels have a high conversion for certain types of products and require specific creative. It is also important to test Instagram vs Facebook and IOS vs Android.

Optimizations:

Facebook goes through phases where it will give preferential treatment/results to certain campaign objectives – we leverage some of these optimization pockets to their brand's advantage

Tracking, Audience and pixel heath:

We install and test the pixel so data and specific metrics can be used to improve results as we run ads. We install and test the CAPI setup, aggregated event measurements and audience setup, so we collect valuable data to ensure the best results possible. 

Key Metrics

We review the key performance metrics daily, such as CTR, CPC, Frequency, CPM, Conversion Rate. We are looking for ways to continually improve opportunities with their creative.

Missed Opportunities:

Before running any ads, we look for potential opportunities the brand can leverage. This includes:

Audiences or messaging that could be used.

Existing social proof, such as reviews or posts in the feed, that could be powerful assets to boost credibility and conversions.

Following the audit, the final step before going live with any campaign rollouts was to do a full “secret shop” of the user experience to ensure the funnel or landing page and buyer journey was ready for conversions.


In our initial findings for this we discovered that the brand used a lot of technical language in their website (which typically doesn’t lend well to direct response copy writing). This slight change improved the website conversion rate by 10% with just a few minor tweaks.

The Objective

We were asked to bring in consistent new clients, more booked jobs, and more revenue while keeping the lead cost under $100 per lead, for their higher ticket service price. We recognized the large importance of structure, and building a warm re-targeting audience that could later be tapped into for even more conversions, and a higher return on investment.

Audiences
The brand would need to run all audiences under specific offers, with defined structure. Our first strategy was to effectively structure campaigns and split ads between cold and warm audiences effectively. An defined structure can have a huge impact on results as you remove the impact of duplicated audiences competing for the same space.
Audiences can become fatigued, along with creative, which is why the structure needs to permit fine tuning, and evergreen content along the funnel. What this means is that audiences should not see the same creative over and over again.

Creative

It was critical to use the valuable content built over years of engagement with the brand. Historical data can contain gold nuggets of truth, everything from the best performing posts to the most engaging content.

The content holding the most value had large amounts of social proof (comments and shares), and that we used in new ads, which allowed us to bring in leads at much lower cost than their competitors.
